When the question :
"What is your biggest problem with the language ?"
is asked those learning French usually answer :
"Lack of practice, lack of speaking opportunities".
French is taught in many schools, yet there is no place to practice and speak naturally. Among foreign residents in France, many share this sentiment with those French natives who, after their English, Spanish, German or Italian studies, do not have the opportunity to use what they have learned.
On a small, beautiful square in the 9th district of Paris,
you will find an extremely warm and friendly place to practice
your French. Konversando is a language club where foreigners
can improve their knowledge of both the French language
and the people.This ground-floor address, opening directly
onto the square, should not be considered as a language
school.
Without any academic ambition, Konversando is a simple,
friendly and inexpensive way to practice foreign languages,
gathering people motivated by the same desire to achieve
fluent and natural speech.
You are given a text or a subject to prepare in advance for a debate in a group of assorted participants where your speech will be corrected by a francophone group leader.

Foreigners and French people meet at Konversando to practice eachother’s language. They speak together in pairs or mini-groups of no more than three people.

Konversando’s sessions take place in our premises in Cite de Trevise at 10am, 12, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm during the week and at 12 on Saturdays.

Konversando is a language club independent of all political and religious parties and is not connected to any sales networks. The language exchanges take place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. However, Konversando is not a social club and suitable conduct of our participants is required. Konversando is not a school.
